Studio Terms and Conditions

Please read through the terms and conditions thoroughly before signing up. By enrolling as a client of Lifted Pilates, you agree to the terms and conditions set out on Lifted Pilates website www.lifted.co.nz 


As a courtesy to others, mobile phones are not to be used during class. Please keep your phone switched off or on silent in your bag.

Please let our admin team know prior to the class commencing if you have any injuries, concerns, or are pregnant by sending an email to admin@lifted.co.nz

Out of consideration for the instructor, other clients and your safety, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late to your class, the instructor reserves the right to refuse you participating.

Please do not arrive too early for class, your instructor will be ready for you to arrive 5 minutes before the class start time.

You must be at least 18 years of age to attend group classes.

Children are not permitted at the studio during classes.


Cancellations or rescheduling group classes must be done through WellnessLiving at least 6 hours prior to the class start time to avoid losing your session.

We do not accept cancellations made by email, phone, text or social media.

Lifted Pilates may cancel a class at any time and for any reason. You will be credited for any classes in this circumstance.

Group classes require a minimum of 3 clients to run. If this is the case up to 2 hours before the class starts, unfortunately the class will be cancelled. Lifted Pilates will contact you via phone or email. You will not be charged and your class credit will be refunded so you can rebook your lesson at a later time, as you wish.


If you reserve a space in a class and do not show up without cancelling through WellnessLiving, you will lose your session


All purchases are non-refundable

No refunds will be provided.

Credits can be transferred to another person, at your request.

No extensions are permitted to the specified expiry period.

Our introductory offers are valid for one time only to new clients.

All memberships will be deducted as per the auto payment schedule outlined on your contract agreement.

Payment must be made prior to booking. You must either have pre-purchased sessions on your account or pay at the time of booking via the WellnessLiving app or our website.


Class bookings are essential and must be made through the WellnessLiving app or our website.

Bookings can be made in advance if you have a valid pass.

If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist.

Sessions cannot be used by anyone other than the person booked into the class. If someone other than the person booked in arrives to use the session, they will be turned away or asked to purchase their own session.

Introductory offers will activate from the date when first used.

Class packs will activate from the date of purchase.

Lifted Pilates may change or substitute any instructor at any time without providing notice to clients.

Staff at Lifted will not be responsible for your bookings and timetable, we ask that you self manage via the app or our website.


If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If there are any cancellations, you will be notified up to an hour before the class commences.

When adding yourself to the waitlist you are committing to attend that class should a space become available. Please remove yourself from the waitlist if you no longer wish to attend to avoid late cancellation or no show fees. Read our Top Tips for Using the Waitlist System here.


I agree that Lifted Reformer Pilates Limited will not be held responsible for any lost or stolen personal belongings.

By participating in any class provided by Lifted Reformer Pilates Limited [FullName] consents to, and agrees to release the company and Instructor from liability according to these terms. This waiver and release will apply to all classes undertaken by you with the Instructor.

You acknowledge that:

– you are over 18 years of age;

– you understand that the classes are a form of physical activity and that there are inherent risks in undertaking any form of physical exercise;

– you have disclosed, or will disclose to the company and instructor prior to arriving at the studio, any pre-existing conditions that may place you at a higher risk of injury or inhibit your ability to participate in a class, this includes, but is not limited to:

– injuries, pain or recent surgery;

– pregnancy or if you have recently given birth; or

– respiratory or heart conditions or high blood pressure.

– Prenatal clients are welcome in group classes during their first and second trimester only. Modifications will be given when needed. We do require notice before you arrive at the studio if you are in your first or second trimester.

– Third trimester clients are welcome to private or semi private lessons only.

– you will notify the instructor if you experience any pain throughout the class and will immediately stop participating in the class if requested by the Instructor to do so;

– based on information you provide, the company or instructor may decide not to allow you to participate in a class, or may require you to provide a medical certificate affirming that you are able to participate in a class before allowing you to join, at the company’s or instructor’s sole discretion;

– recommendations or instruction provided by the instructor may not be tailored for your particular skill or ability level and it is your responsibility to assess whether you are able or want to participate in all or part of a class;

– you are solely responsible for ensuring that your physical environment is suitable for your participation in any class; and

– classes may be recorded for by the Instructor for quality control, as well as promotional purposes. If you do not consent to the Instructor using video or still images taken during the class for promotional purposes, please notify the Instructor.

– all purchases are non refundable. Bank refunds will not be issued, however credit can be applied to the clients account for later use. Usual expiry dates will apply to account credit.

To the extent permitted at law, you release and hold Lifted Reformer Pilates (and where applicable its, directors, employees and representatives) harmless from  any liability, cost, expense, damages or claims arising from or which may be suffered or incurred in connection with your participation in any classes provided at Lifted Reformer Pilates Limited.

You will treat your fellow class mates and instructors with respect and kindness. Lifted Pilates reserves the right to cancel a pass or membership effective immediately for disrespectful, harmful or illegal behaviour.
